ourlu.com is a site created by Laurentian University Neuroscience students to chronicle the difficulties they've been facing with the Laurentian University administration.
From shutting down and subsequently privatizing the animal research at Laurentian, to trying to block Neuroscience students from enrolling in the master's program based on financial criteria, the University is basically acting like one giant cock.
It really, honest-to-goodness outrages me to see how my friends in the Neuroscience department have been treated by the University administration. This isn't some tongue-in-cheek Aerosmith outrage, I am fucking pissed, and you should be too.
The only reason the University is acting in this cowardly and underhanded manner is to try and oust Dr. Michael Persinger. As I see it, the reasons are two-fold: monetary (his research does not attract fat grants and his space could be used to house other researchers who bring in more money), and political (challenging the very basis of our beliefs in God does not sit well with most people).
Honest to God, I feel like I would fucking punch the University administration right in their fat smiling faces if they were in front of me.
So please, visit this site and read for yourself what a bunch of assholes Laurentian University officials can be:

Sat. Nov. 15th @ Myths & Mirrors
On Saturday, Nov. 15th, I am helping the Neuroscience Department at Laurentian University to put on a show at Myths and Mirrors. The purpose is to raise funds for their legal defence. It will be $5. Bands will be the Birthday Cakes, Hellbound Chainsaws, Bunnies in Berlin, Herd of One and Watchamacollit Posse.
There will also be other activities related to discussing the issues facing the neuroscience department and some information about your brain.
I am pretty excited as this will be the first time the Hellbound Chainsaws have ever performed in public.
