thepacooperative.org

The PA cooperative is a venture that is near and dear to my heart. Frank Chartrand (owner of Smallchange inc., the Realness Promo and erstwhile custodian of the Sudbury message board punksud.net) and I have purchased a full vocal PA together with technological advice and assistance from Townehouse soundman Luke Sellen.

We plan to offer use of this PA to Sudburians for the low price of $100. The cost of renting a decent PA is presently far too prohibitive and acts as a detriment to organizing all-ages shows. This cooperative will change all that.

Frank and I will be organizing a fundraiser show on Saturday, January 24th to try and recoup some of the costs of putting this PA together. After we have made our money back, we will re-invest the PA rental fees back into maintaining and upgrading the PA.

If all goes as planned, we hope to secure a permanent all-ages venue in Sudbury with the proceeds of the PA Cooperative.

posters and james bond

I went to see the James Bond movie tonight with my dad and my brothers. I found it very hard to follow. The action scenes were super sweet though.

Jon and I posted a new song from the upcoming Meadowlark Lemon album, "Twists", on our myspace:
