Prophet 08

I'm thinking of buying a Dave Smith Prophet 08 to replace my Korg MS 2000. For some reason the bottom four keys on the MS 2000 change the settings of my presets instead of playing notes. I'd bring it in to get it fixed, but I don't have time. Maybe I'll do it just before I leave for Musselwhite (the gold mine I work at, and where I am writing this from) at the end of October

The Prophet seems like a pretty awesome synth though, and I found one on Craigslist for about $250 less than the list price.

Besides, I find the Korg unintuitive and balky when editing sound patches.

I've kind of already got it in my head that it's mine. It would be such a sweet addition to my Moog.

Jonathan and I are thinking of joining the two new songs we've been working on called "The Fire Sermon" and "What the Fuck" to an older song we play called "Fashion Hawk", and turning it into one long 20 minute song for the show on Friday the 10th.
