Last Day

Today is my last day at the mine. In fact, I'll be leaving in another two hours. The guys had a cake brought to the mill for me, and they gave me a portrait of a mine rescue team member drawn by a worker here at the mine. It's really nice. They also gave me a knife and a portable mug. I've never been treated like this when leaving a job before. It's a great feeling to know that your work was appreciated. The guys here are all hard workers, and they care about the success of the place a great deal. They're mostly friendly and they don't often get too stressed out. I must admit, this has been the best job I've ever had. However, I am looking forward to going back to school and being in Sudbury full time for the next four months.
